Approached through its own cottage garden, the front door leads up two steps from an old mill stone to a pretty hallway. The main sitting room is off to the right, with gorgeous heavy beams and a huge inglenook fireplace with a wood burner and large, comfy modern sofas and chairs, as well as window seats; TV with Freeview; DVD player and wireless Denon speakers.
The games room/snug is across the hallway from the sitting room, with a pool table, games, children’s books and toys.
Both the sitting room and the hallway connect with the smart Shaker style kitchen in oak and black granite, with an Aga and a large farmhouse table. The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of china and glasses, a wide range of kitchen equipment, a microwave and of course a dishwasher. There is a utility room with a large American style fridge-freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, electric oven and hob.
A loo and washbasin are off the utility room as well as some granite steps down to the boot room and back side entrance door.

As well as the enclosed walled garden with table and chairs, there is a further large sunny garden with lawns, fruit trees and shrubs, as well as a south-facing summer house with a mature grape vine and conservatory furniture. The garden leads over a pretty stream down to the indoor heated swimming pool (9 x 3.7m x 1.2m deep), which is shared with the owners who live separately and discreetly in an adjoining barn conversion.
